On September 17th, we celebrated and unveiled the Hodgson Park legacy plaque and art installation to honour the Hodgson family. The new community park includes several tributes to the Hodgson Family, the former landowners, as well as Chestermere’s dairying legacy.
The tree installed at the park represents the legacy of the Hodgson family. The land had many trees including three crab apple trees, which were their pride and joy.
In addition, we celebrated the grand opening of four brand new laned and front drive showhomes. While touring the newest showhomes from our award winning builder, visitors were invited to enjoy hot dogs from the Family Dogs Food Truck, a magician, and a chance to win tickets to an upcoming Calgary Stampeders game.
Missed the event? Be sure to visit the brand new showhomes open Monday-Thursday 2-8PM, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 12-5PM.
